Weekly Message - January 26-30

January is soon coming to a close and this week we have a four-day week with no school for students this Friday, January 30.

We start our second term of instruction this week with students starting new complementary courses on Wednesday, January 28. Please check MyCBE to determine if the new courses have fees connected to them.

February always feels like a quick month with the combination of Teachers' Convention and Family Day. This year, the Teachers’ Convention is scheduled for February 12-13, and Family Day is Monday, February 16.

Volleyball Season Underway

Interschool volleyball competition begins this week with all four teams playing scheduled games. We are hosting home games at CNGS Monday through Wednesday and our boys' teams travel to Branton on Thursday. Please check the schedule below for more details.

As with basketball, students must be accompanied by a parent if they wish to watch games at other schools. Our students are welcome to watch home games without a parent in attendance and are expected to demonstrate positive and encouraging behaviour for all athletes, parents, and peers.

Healthy Hunger Fun Lunch – Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Each week, the School Council offers Healthy Hunger as an easy way to order special lunches. Please register and order on the Healthy Hunger website. This opportunity is an important fundraising activity for the school and gives students a chance to enjoy a variety of lunch options throughout the school year.
