CNGS Back to School Information

Dear Parents and Guardians of CNGS Students,

Welcome back to the 2023–24 school year! And it's hard to believe that we are already here and how quickly these summers just seem to fly by! Here are a few reminders and information items as we prepare to open the school next week.

Office Hours

Our school office opens on Monday, August 28, 2023. Please call 403-817-3300, or email CaptainNicholaGoddard@cbe.ab.ca to contact the office on or after that date.

First Day of Classes - Staggered entry times

Our first day of classes is Thursday August 31, 2023 with a staggered entry. On the first day grade six students will start at 8:05am, grade seven through nine starts at 1:03pm.

Homeroom Classes

You will receive a welcome email from your student’s teacher early next week identifying their homeroom and classroom number. 

Supplies for Grade 6 Students

Grade 6 students will have their supplies purchased through the CBE and teachers will give them supplies as needed throughout the year school. Students will need a backpack, a lunch kit, and appropriate footwear for Physical Education and activity.
